Anyone good with riddles?
I need to think of at least 16 riddles/clues for the big kids Easter Egg hunt.
We are doing it outside at my moms. The only free sets of clues are indoor ones. The rest I found you have to pay for. So ... help me out please! LOL |

thanks Meg! If it helps, here are some of the kinds of places we have to hide them (don't have to use them all):
hay bales, pool/pool fence, hot tub, tree w/ purple flowers, palm trees (1 tall and 2 smaller) lemon tree, back porch, gazebo, beach (sand area), playhouse pirate ship, 3 different doors (front door, side door, back door). old coke machine, old vintage washing machine, water faucet/hoses, a few different bird houses (firehouse, school house), a large turtle sculpture |

This is the kind of thing I do with my nieces and nephews. I hope it's ok I answered.
Hope you can use some of these: Hay Bales: I could be breakfast or dinner for a horse. Right now I hold a clue. For You, of course. Pool: It's fun to swim in water that's blue, No need to jump in to get your next clue. Hot tub: I'm warmer than a swimming pool. Too hot, some felt. Just don't drop a chocolate bunny in me. For sure he would melt. Tree with purple flowers: There's a tree in the yard with flowers this hue, The color of grape jelly beans should give you a clue. Palm trees: There are three trees in the yard that could be on a tropical postcard. Two of them are sort of small. Your clue is next to one that is tall. Lemon tree: You can solve this riddle. You have the power. I give you fruit that is yellow and sour. Back porch: I'm outside, people can sit on me and I'm attached to the house. Can you solve this riddle? Be quick. Like a mouse. Beach (sand area): You shovel me into your pail and I get between your toes. Am I hiding a clue for you? Surely, Grandma knows! Playhouse pirate ship: Ahoy Matey! It's easy to see I'm hiding on a vessel that should be out to sea. Old Coke machine: Some call it soda. Some call it pop. To find your next clue make this your next stop. Old vintage washing machine: This can be used to get dirty clothes clean. It may have a clue. You'll see what I mean. Hose: You use me to sprinkle the garden with water. Right now I'm hiding clues for grandsons and granddaughters. School house bird house: Hunting for clues is fun with a buddy. Where could a bird go to learn how to study? Firehouse bird house: A bird can make a nest in a tree or a tire, or the house of a person who can put out a fire. Large turtle sculpture: Look up high. Look down low. Look for the animal that moves really slow. Front door: Get a package or meet someone new. You won't need to knock to find treats for YOU!
