So I just got this error when I tried to open a TIFF in CS5.
![]() I've googled it and it's due to a saving error..... in particular this: Quote:

I'm wondering if I can just open it in PSE6, and drag it into a new document and re save a whole new file (I just renamed the old one). By the way it's the whole folder...just not that one file!!!

Try opening it as a new document, instead of placing it. That's what I have to do with TIFFs to have access to all of their layers anyway.

ooo...I have had this error before, I long time ago!! It was probably with PS CS...and with a jpg. Ugh! I can't remember what I needed to do to fix it!
can you open it in PSE and re-save it as a psd? or a png?
