It is okay to take a photo that totally does not match in color or theme and put it in a calendar quick page! I just put a baseball photo in a very flowery frame! And that is okay!

Well, I think it's mostly that we're down to the last minute on getting the calendar done and in the mail to the grandparents!
![]() My OCD tells me that I need to start with a blank template on January 1st next year and to resolve to take at least ONE picture each month for the calendar and buy at least one kit that goes along with the photo and by the time December rolls around, it's done and off to a real lab! LOL! Maybe I should set an alarm on the smartphone each month reminding me to do this? Last edited by origami; 12-11-2012 at 07:37 PM. |

Hah! While my OCD says that I am supposed to use photos from the corresponding month in 2012 for each quickpage, I used an AUGUST photo for an OCTOBER page! Bahahahaha!

Oh, doing a page each month in 2013 would be good. Then I wouldn't be scrambling to find a decent photo during the winter months when I take next to no photos. Lol

If it gets your calendar done in time, it works!
One of my favorite tricks for making a photo work is to layer on a few elements from a kit that coordinates with the photo's theme and the QP's colors.

I think it's perfectly ok!! It's your calendar, do what you want. I've put christmas photos in calendar months for February because they matched the page. LOL
