Default In a photo funk...

I'm looking at my Instagram feed for the last few weeks... and it's kinda empty.

I think maybe I'm tried of trying to take pictures of everything every day. LOL! I've been doing Project Life for over a year now and I feel like some shots are always the same... I guess in 5 years, it will be super cool to compare what a school day looks like now to one from today... but my interest in taking those photos right now is... meh.

I'm sure I'll get over it! I've been really, really, stupid-busy for the last few weeks and life is just now--as of 5 minutes ago-eturning to normal. LOL! That's how I noticed this... I wanted to scrap! Then I said "Ut-oh. Where are the photos?" LOL!

You ever feel this way? Raise your hand--I know I'm not alone.

AND! it doesn't help that my camera is virtually useless right now. It's having this issue where it is reading fully charged batteries as not charged and it will shut down after one or two pictures! My hubby looked it up--it's a common issue for my camera and our batteries. I just need to get a different type. But I keep forgetting! And I haven't had any time for shopping...

I think I need to at least remedy the "no time for shopping" part. Every girl needs that.

Stinker!

Because I can't think of any patterned papers to make right now. So, if I switch creative gears, all of the sudden I know it will come to me.

You caught me!

I'm having a hard time busting out my DSLR. All of my photos lately have been iPhone because it's soooo much easier.

I downloaded a few from that really cool blog post you shared here a month or so ago. I got Snapseed (which was free) and paid for Camera+ and I've been really happy with both of them. They are cool and very helpful! I love the exposure thingy that Camera+ has!

Yeah, count me in...I felt that way for all of 2012 and didn't realize it. When I went to make my end of year round up album for Christmas gifts, I couldn't. I didn't have enough pics!!! I wasn't taking pictures because I hated my camera. I purchased a new camera and I was taking a lot of pictures, but with some added stress right now, taking pictures even seems like a chore.
I simply need to snap out of it and start taking them again.
I'm going to take a look at pic tab go app...sounds cool. I have Camera+ as well.

Maybe we should try a photo challenge? Make it fun again? I have a few pinned! I just never think to do them. But I'll probably have to do something like that to take basic, everyday photos just to have something in my album. It's close enough to February for me to fake it right now.

Oh I could certainly use some inspiration to take some different photos as well. I feel like all I have are the girls dressed and heading out the door for school, in the car in the drop off line, food we eat and the occasional pic of a special occassion. When did I get so lax about taking pictures?

I'd love a picture challenge! I've tried the photo a day kind of thing with prompts but then I'm just looking for something to photograph to check off my list rather than really capturing what is going on right now.

Nicole - I bet having pics of what the kids are doing in school will be really interesting years from now. How they look doing their work, what kind of work, where they sit to do their work, etc. So perhaps you just keep taking those photos and file them away for later when inspiration will hit you with something to do with them all?

i have all the inspiration at hand. get the katrina kennedy inspiration every day and just... don't take the photo.
i am in a photo rut for about 3 weeks now and hope to come out soon. i have the same issue. just don't know what to take photos of. our lives are so usual every day. i seldomly have something really special to document and oftentimes i get shy to take the photo.

I'd be up for a photo challenge....Maybe if we make it more about photography it won't seem so same old, same old....fun with angles, DOF, etc. Could be fun!
