Default Work Out Music...what yah listening to?

I'm trying to lose 10 more pounds before vacation in 5 weeks. So I'm doing my low carb thing and trying to walk 2-3 miles each morning before work. My music is getting boring - so what are your favorite songs that keep you motivated to keep working out/walking? I need to update my Spotify Workout Playlist!

I like to listen to in this moment while I do weights lol. There was a site I looked at when I was running that showed you songs that were at the same tempo as your speed. But I can't remember what it was now. I don't know if you really need that for walks though. The wrong music would totally throw off my runs.

I listen to audiobooks when I'm working out, or watch netflix on the treadmill.

Brook - Everything by Lorde is on my list for "in the bedroom" they all sound like sounds you could do a good dance to. I can only imagine what that would do to my walking. LOL!!

Love the other suggestions - giving them a try. I like older stuff too..80's, 90's anything with a really good beat and something fun to sing under my breath for when my mind isn't wandering.

Jen - I have thought about listening to TV shows or movies, but I'm not sure how it would stream over the phone without wifi. I am going to pick some new shows to watch for when I do the treadmill. Most days I try to get out by 6 am to walk before it gets too hot.

Ha, that's too funny Juli. Lorde makes me feel like kicking some a$$, so it's the prefect work out music for me. Although it is slow-ish.

I am no help since I tend to not listen to music anymore while working out, but when I did, anything by lady gaga had me moving easy

So this is crazy, but I have been running to military cadences lately. They keep me on beat and motivate me, but I've been to basic training, might have something to do with it.
