Profile pic help

Hello!
I've been trying to add a profile pic to my profile, but keep getting an invalid image error. Are there any tutorials or advice anyone could help me with?

Is the size dimensions and file size under the maximum? That’s usually how/why I can’t get mine to show.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 29.3 KB (whichever is smaller).

I had to go to this site, resize until it was under 150x150 and less than 29kb , save it to my phone and then upload it

Thank you both! I thought I made it to fit the requirements, but maybe I'll try saving it to my phone and then trying to upload it.

I always have trouble when I try to update my avatar pic here. It seems as if the size is correct, but then it still gives me fits. Probably why I haven't updated it in years ;0)
