I'm not sure I would have used as much red if my son wasn't excitedly giving me feedback on this page. He loves it already (and is asking me to scrap yet another game)

I love starting off the new year on a hike, especially if it's cold outside. Everything feels fresh and new.

I feel like this template set was made for my family's love of all things space. It's so much fun to rescrap favorite photos while telling new stories.

I love the way everything came together to look like it's snowing on my layout! :D

The colors of this kit go perfectly with my new planner (and personal color scheme in general). Plus Olivia's doodled style goes perfect with my (first) book tracker.

I looked at these templates and immediately though "space." Thank goodness the big photo could be cropped into a circle, right? I love this page so much and kind of wish it was in the (already printed ages ago) album from our last trip to Kennedy Space Center.

That drink element is even cuter than my adorable drink (from 2010).

I scrapped the page for kiddo's album using the same kit I used for my December album. I love the consistency plus these colors go so well with the rest area mural.

I basically grew up at this Pizzeria Uno's and now it's my son's turn. So happy we managed to visit while we were nearby.

The majority of the kiddo's Christmas & Hanukkah presents this year are Mario-themed but we got to give him the most desirable one: Mario Kart! The game and 2 additional Joy-Cons feel like a gift to me because we spent the evening gaming together.

I love when things fall into place and a page turns out better than I could imagine. The paint from the template lined up perfectly with the paper to make my favorite arch of the Milky Way and then I just built from there.

I fell in love with that word art by Olivia. It perfectly encompasses (pun intended) how I felt as I was working on the garland.

My son got a toy axolotl and we've been having wonderful adventures ever since. It was too cute not to scrap and I think it counts as "all in the details."

I looked at this template and immediately thought "fluffy cloud!" From there, it was pretty easy to pull it together.

I was feeling a little nostalgic for my days of piecing together pages out of freebies and decided to challenge myself to do it again.

This seems to be the season of using a bunch of kits on every page. There's just so many great kits that it's hard to choose.

My mom took my son & I to a ceramics place to make a menorah just after his first Hanukkah. It's the first one we put out every year.

These photos are from our first Christmas together, 15 years ago. Time flies when you're not looking...

I'm still in love with Olivia's doodles and this kit is no exception. I picked this template just so I could use a bunch of the papers and I chose my favorite elements to sprinkle in.

I couldn't resist playing with this template set. I love the look of the candy-cane striping. I used a tinsel style on the leaf-y layers to make my own tinsel garland

I got a bunch of great Halloween kits *after* I finished making this year's pages. So why not (re)scrap some favorite photos?

Cheryl is rereleasing these templates and I'm so excited to get to play with them this time around. Let's pretend this is the page I actually made in January ;)

Apologies for being a bit of a bummer; the "holiday struggles" prompt spoke to me a little too much. (It doesn't help that I've been scrapping the happier photos for CT stuff and therefore staring this in the face.)

There's some very sweet photos of us decorating the tree together in my December album but the kiddo's album deserves all the chaos and fun!
