I love finding accidental themes in my film scans. I'm beginning to think the dinosaurs may not be such an accident though; there's something about South Florida that has people thinking Jurassic Park.
We were on our way to pick up some takeout when we saw a rainbow spanning over our street. I had brought my film cameras with me in hopes of a rainbow so clearly, D & I needed to stand across the street so I could take a bunch of photos.
I would not have made this a centered composition if it wasn't for the challenge but I think it came out okay. I love the paint of the moon orbiting the Earth and built everything around that.
The day I pulled all the onions and had to put them in the sun room to cure! I didn't have space for this in my journaling, but that room stank like onions for weeks until they were fully dried!
I saw the hexagons and immediately thought of honeycomb and from there, it wasn't long until I had a plan. I have other bee-themed kits (including one I haven't used yet) but this one is a forever favorite.
