Hi Friends,

This is my first designer challenge, so please let me know if I mess anything up, as I know that you are the experts! :D

In our family we like to think of something that we are grateful for every day in November. My Practicing Gratitude kit is about scrapping all of those things that we are thankful for, and all of those things that bring us joy. If you get the Practicing Gratitude Journal Cards they have over 60 cards that give you lots of opportunities to journal about specific things.

Here is the challenge: Make a layout about things you are grateful for and post them here in this thread with a link to where it is in the gallery. You can get an entry in for each layout, but please make sure they are all linked and that you put them in one post instead of multiples so that I don't mess up counting them.

There are two prizes: You can make your thankful layout with any Sweet Shoppe Designs Kit and you will be entered to win a $5 coupon to the Connection Keeping store. If you make your layout with any of the Practicing Gratitude Products you will be entered in to win a $15 Connection Keeping Store coupon. Everybody that enters can download the free gift below. It is a set of daily labels if you are scrapping each day and it has a pdf of gratitude ideas for each day.

What an awesome challenge! I might give this a try. And, your collection is beautiful.

One suggestion, though. A deadline for the end of the challenge might be helpful.

I didn't use your Gratitude kit but I used one of your kits instead.

I'm super thankful that I got to see my friends again while visiting Charleston. It was a really great few days full of laughter and yummy food.

 
I hear you Laura. I always tell my friends, I am never as grateful for my family as when I am scrapbooking them and our times together.

Hi Kelly, just bought your bundle yesterday and I hope to scrap a few pages with it!
A few years ago I've done a '30 days of grattitude' challenge (I made 30 layouts during November). Don't think I'll have the energy and time to do layout every day, but I'm planning on doing one for every week!
First thing I'm grateful for is being home after a few days at the hospital...

I am so sorry about your hospital visit, I truly hope that you are feeling better and that you are able to truly rest and recharge. It is probably just nice to be in your own bed, I hope that your house and people bring you comfort! I think weekly is amazing. I just would do pocket layouts with just a picture and a journal card for each day, 30 layouts in one month is seriously like a marathon, one of those things that you do once because it's so draining but it felt awesome when it was done! I can't wait to see what you create!!!
 
Sherly, I absolutely adore that page. It is balanced and lush all at the same time, thanks for sharing it here for inspiration!

Scrap therapy - your page is absolutely gorgeous. I love the paper clipped to a mask that makes it look like fun paint. I love the clusters and the beautiful picture you made pop out in Black and White!
 
I am really grateful that I'm in a position to homeschool. It's always amazing to watch as things finally click for my mini me, especially as he learns to read
 
Beautiful collection. We all have so much to be thankful for. I know I take so much for granted each day. I try to be mindful and thankful on the daily.

Romajo, I am so glad that you are doing better, all of that uncomfortable time in the hospital was probably so hard, and how beautiful to change it into thankfulness. I love the white space and simplicity of the layout!!! I love your second week layout as well, that is totally how I scrapbook and you have brought so many different days together beautifully.

Laura I absolutely love your page and I smile whenever I see it as it gets me excited for our walk in a couple of weeks!!!!

Brenda your page is amazing. I love the sentiment and how Olivia's kit fits perfectly. Learning should be a joy and lovely, giving your son the time and space to be able to develop a love of reading for reading without the stress is gorgeous and a testament to we want for all of our kids. We've home schooled for 4 years at our house, but all of our kids are in public school but we are looking into it for our youngest for next year as we figure out what would be best for him. I am super thankful for your beautiful layout.

Melinda, I was laughing at your screen name as your gorgeous page shows you are not a newbie. It's an absolutely beautiful layout. It's exciting and bold but also ordered and symmetrical. Gorgeous!

I am grateful for my planner, which keeps me organized and gives me happy chemicals as I check things off my to-do lists, as well as for being given fun things to decorate it with once a month
 
Here's my third page, this is actually the 4th week of November.

Not sure if I'll do a layout for week 3 and/or for thi s week (even though I had planned doing so).

I only missed the 3rd week of november, but I managed to create 4 layouts anyway (I must admit, I used 3 of them for the CYOA challenges as well).
