Welcome to the April Monthly Magic challenge hosted by Studio Flergs and Amber Shaw Designs! Sorry for being so late in posting. Life has bee a whirlwind.

Did you see the newest #believeinmagic collection? I love Mary Poppins! She is one of my most favorite Disney characters. Ms. Practically Perfect is my inspiration for the April challenge.

For this challenge I want you to scrap a page based on a strong positive female influence in your life. It could be your Mom, your Sister, a BFF, a sweet friend... you get the idea. It would also be great if you were also in the photo, but it isn't a must.

Here are the details:

Nitty gritty for April Monthly Magic challenge:

1) For this challenge, your page will need to scrap a page of a strong positive female influence in your life.

2) Your page must be made with 100% Studio Flergs or Amber Shaw Designs products or #believeinmagic collections. Templates from another designer are acceptable.

3) Please post your layout in
Studio Flergs gallery or
Amber Shaw Designs gallery whichever applies.

4) You have until 11:59 pm PST time on May 10th to complete your page and post it here (with it linked to your gallery). Please feel free to share with us a little about your photo(s). All who complete a page will receive this participation prize created by Amber:



5) One random winner will receive a kit of their choice from Amber or Megs store (#believeinmagic included).

Here's mine. One of the strong women in my life is my co-worker and friend Elke. To clear our minds, we go geocaching together. Her daughter comes along too. This is the layout of our first geocache trip this year.

What a great challenge! My mom is definitely a strong female influence in my life. She seems to doubt herself lately and it makes my heart so sad, because she is absolutely one of the strongest women I know, who loves so deeply and passionately for everyone, and is just beautiful. Last year I made an album for her for Mother's Day and have added pages throughout the year, this was such a great challenge to add a new page for Mother's Day to show her some love :) This was from a tea that the Women's Club she is involved in puts on each March as a fundraiser, this small club of 5 or 6 women hosts this tea each year for 150-200 women with a fashion show and raise the money for the year they need to donate to their community, help fund scholarships, and other things. It is really a beautiful event. She's with my daughter in the biggest picture

My mom is the one who's taught me how to be a mother. I wish she lived closer and could be with me all the time! My kids are so lucky to have her as grandma.

Thank you to all the ladies who participated this month. I love seeing your beautiful pages. We all need a good strong female influence in our lives.
