Sweet Shoppers, the time is finally here to show us your stuff. That's right, we're looking for a handful of talented and enthusiastic scrappers and hybrid artists to join our incredible team of SugarBabes! Check out the details on how to apply below...

It should be noted that being a Babe is a position that comes with a lot of responsibility. Our minimum requirements include:

  • 4 layouts per month using assigned designer's products on a rotating basis.
  • Hosting and supporting through layout samples our inspiring daily blog posts.
  • Active (ie. daily) involvement in our community and staff forums.
Potential candidates should scrap often and LOVE Sweet Shoppe Designs and our amazing team of designers. Willingness, flexibility and enthusiasm for helping us accomplish our goals so we can be the best site in all of digi-land is imperative. Our SugarBabes are not just creative team members, they are a HUGE part of our family and major contributors to our success as a brand and we want scrappers who will pour their hearts into that role.

Our designers are sooo excited to review your apps, and all of us wish each of you the very best as you put yourselves out there for us to consider!

Oh me oh my! Babe calls are exciting and so so intimidating at the same time. I may have to think on this.

This is like the best call ever!! Of course, I need a few years to hone my style before I ever apply, but good luck to all of the ladies who do apply!! :D
 
Oh wow! I'd been hoping for a hybrid babe call forever but "life" has gotten in the way so I'll have to wait for next time. Good luck to everyone - I can't wait to see all the new inspiration!!!

Good Luck to everyone! I know how intimidating this call can be but, it's true that you never know until you apply!

I applied for the last one (over a year ago) and actually thought I was ready. Bwahahahahaha - I must have been in dream world that day. Anywho, although rejection is always hard, it showed me how hard I needed to work on developing my style, improving my skills and getting comfortable with the type of layout artist I am. So, it was a great growing experience for me. And you know, I may not make it this time either and that will mean I have even further to grow but, that will be okay too because it just makes us stronger in our art.

So, get those apps in girls. Step out of your comfort zone, put yourself out there and know that whatever the outcome, you have something to gain from the experience. :)
 
well said NeeNee! I applied 3 times before i got it. I remember standing in walmart in the lingerie section and calling home to have dh check my mail and he read it to me over the phone and I literally let out a loud WHOOP and did a little dance right there in the store!! Such fond memories! Being a babe is the sweetest thing going!!!!
