I applied for the last one (over a year ago) and actually thought I was ready. Bwahahahahaha - I must have been in dream world that day. Anywho, although rejection is always hard, it showed me how hard I needed to work on developing my style, improving my skills and getting comfortable with the type of layout artist I am. So, it was a great growing experience for me. And you know, I may not make it this time either and that will mean I have even further to grow but, that will be okay too because it just makes us stronger in our art.

So, get those apps in girls. Step out of your comfort zone, put yourself out there and know that whatever the outcome, you have something to gain from the experience. :)

Like Amy, I applied a few times before I got it as well. You have to scrap for YOU, and what works for you, in YOUR style. Once I started just scrapping for myself, instead of trying to be something I wasn't, or to scrap like someone else, that's when Robin emailed me to fill one of the open spots. At that time, I could see how much further I'd come from the first time I applied. I knew I had improved, and found my way! :)
 
Yep, I'm like the others who applied a number of times before making it. So I would definitely say to keep trying, keep trying, keep trying. Each time, you will be better and better and your skills will have improved, and one day, you never know..... you get that awesome email!! It truly is the sweetest gig in digi-town!!

You won't ever know if you don't apply! Worst case scenerio you get a super SWEET rejection letter from Robin..trust me she writes the best ones!

Oh wow! I never know how to jump into a new community so I have been sitting on the sidelines watching this one forever, well, since I started digiscrapping a few years ago. I finally worked up the courage after reading the responses here and sent in my app. I love the designs so what better way to jump in right? Even if I don't get it, I think I may finally have the guts to jump in the community here and start chattin it up. Good luck to everyone and thanks to all you lovely ladies for the inspiration! You rock!
