Seriously... at least 4, though! Or 8? Or all of them? lol

I will often pick a paper that I want to use from the beginning. Then, at the end, I pull in a number of other options just to "make sure." I usually wind up using the one I started with. 😂

Usually I get it right the first time but occasionally I will end up trying a second or third. Sometimes it is just a matter of toning down the original choice by adding a solid paper over the top and then lowering the opacity.
 
It really depends on the layout I am doing and the photos I am working with. Sometimes I know right away and other times I change out the paper numerous times. :)
 
Depends - most times 3-4. If the layout doesn't look right at the end, I try different BG's again! I Mostly tend to lean on the simple side.
 
Sometimes the arrangement of my entire layout is inspired by a background paper... in that case, just one :ROFLMAO:

But generally speaking sometimes I have an easier time choosing than others. When I'm feeling indecisive I have been known to go through a half dozen papers until I find the right one though.
 
I'm pretty decisive when it comes to putting most anything on my canvas. I used to go the entire process with no background paper OR photos in place. Nowadays, I place the photos first, then add the papers and embellies, in varying order. I might pull 3-5 papers onto the canvas, but I make quick choices from that point.
 
I usually try several especially because I tend to like to use a second background to frame the original layout. Finding the ones that work the best together takes time =)
 
At least 3 or 4. I start out with a background paper that really like, and as the layout progresses, I change it out. Sometimes I try 8 or 10. I wind up hiding all the background papers and then reveal them one by one, and then switch a couple on and off. 😂
 
If I'm lucky 1 or 2 but most of the time I can't decide and have to try every opportunity lol! Sometimes I even ask my daughter to help me and of course most of the time we wouldn't go with the same! :ROFLMAO:
 
All of them, and usually at least twice each before finally settling or saving the layout with 4 different ones. Haha. It's a problem for me. Either I can't chose just one or I can't chose one at all.
 
I usually open 5 or so and then combine them. But sometimes I also change out the background paper right before I'm going to save it!
 
On average I would say maybe 3, but it can be more or less based on photos or other papers I want to use. I also put them all on the layout and just hide certain ones playing with how it looks.

Yep this is totally me! haha
 
Sometimes the choice is obvious and I'll stick with my first instince, but more often than not I'll try out lots of the papers first. Occasionally I'll come to the conclustion that my first choice wasn't the best choice. It's always good to play around.
