CD album cutter

I have been thinking to make a CD album for a long time as I have both plenty of old CDs as well as some fantastic CD templates, including those from our Darcy. But I am afraid I won't be able to cut the circle perfectly... and I don't want to use CD labels because of the hole in the middle :)

My question is - do there exist some cutters/punchers that cut you a perfect circle measuring appx. 118 mm?

Thanks ladies...

My suggestion is to just glue the paper to the CD, then flip it over and use a kraft knife to cut off the excess. You can get right up against the edge of the cd to make a clean cut. OR, do the same but only do a rough cut around the edge with scissors, and then use sand paper or a nail fil to file away the rest of the paper to get a clean edge.

I have 2 circle cutters and I hate them. So those are the methods I use.

I have the Creative Memories circle cutting system and I love it. I have never had any problems cutting different papers or size circles. I have used the same cutters forever and never had a rough cut.

I use the sanding method...print your circles just a bit bigger than the CD, adhere to CD and let dry. Then use a sanding block (those for acrylic nails are great and cheap) to sand away the excess paper. This gives a perfect edge! hth

Heather, what adhesive do you use on your cd albums? I just did one, but used double sided tape, but the very edges were hard to secure. Thanks.

I use Modge Podge, but a full coverage adhesive like a Xyron machine would work too, or even spray adhesive (spray outside and be sure to cover the edges). :)

The Martha Stewart's Circle Cutter arrived right before Easter :)

Now I am considering buying also Xyron... :) What else do I need? :D
