Crop-A-Dile

Those of you who don't have one, but want a good tool for punching holes (through chipboard or up to several sheets of paper) and setting eyelets...you NEED to get a Crop-A-Dile. And I just read that Costco is carrying them for only $25 including over 640 eyelets...that's a steal of a deal, since if you bought it all separately it would cost over $85!

I love mine...don't know how we did without them for so long, lol!

I'll have to check it out at cosco..I almost bought one at archivers in the case with all the different eyelets and stuff and it was 34.99 and in pink, purple, or lime green!!

I bought mine the first year it was out (when the only color they had was pink, lol), and I paid $27 plus shipping, JUST for the tool...no eyelets (which were I think $4.99 for a package of like 24 or something).

Me too, lol. I just new it had to better than pounding away on an eyelet only to have it come out looking messed up. It was totally worth it. Plus, I already have a zillion eyelets, I don't need them with the tool too, lol.

oooh... I'll check for it at Costco. However if you get it at Michael's with the 40% off coupon that they occassionally run, it's only like $15.

Bree, this is too funny. I was just going to come here and say that Costco has a great deal on the Crop-A-Dile. I just got one today! I can't wait to play with it! Susan has inspired me with all of her gorgeous albums!

I just got mine a few weeks ago and it's so awesome! I'm always looking for reason to use it now, LOL!

i was at Costco today and did not see these . . .

but I already have one. The green one with nifty case.

but i don't know if I'm really using it correctly . . .

Michaels has them 50% off this week, at least here in Canada anyway. However, that comes with nothing other than the Crop-A-Dile, so I might check out Costco and if they have them I'll take mine back to Michaels since I haven't taken it out of the package yet.

i've had one since the fall. but yeah. it'd been sitting in a box since the day i bought it. haven't done much paper stuff lately, can you tell? but, i took it out when i was arranging my new craft room. so hopefully, it'll get some use. plus, with all the hybrid stuff coming out, i can see myself using it.
and mine is pink. i LOVE pink. see, if it came in purple, i'd have it in purple. but yeah. pink works too.

Um, yes I did. LOL Love my Crop-a-Dile too!

I want both of those!! Those are so cool!

Col yes Micheal's should have the Cheetah's and the refills! I got mine at Walmart but they no longer sell them so I get the refills at Michael's now.

I actually bought that set at CostCo a long time ago but haven't touched it yet. I'm haven't been ready to make anything yet, but there will come a day! :) I'm excited to try it out!

I love having my stuff on the wall T. I got 2 metal and glass shelving sets at BJ's like a year or so ago. I have all my primas, and all my cricut cartridges on them, and there are hooks that I hang altered stuff and ribbons on. It's awesome.

That settles it, I'm totally buying the cheetah tomorrow. I've been asked to make invites for a friends bridal shower, and I need to go and look at the Martha Stewart lines to try and coordinate them with the favors. I love when I can combine stuf flike that, lol. I totally win.

ooh, that Embellishment Center looks nice! But I don't think I'm ready for that yet . . .

what to buy with my Michael's coupon . . . hmm . .

Kellie - I use my crop-a-dile (also the pink one w/out the eyelets) to punch holes in CDs for the ring thingy when I make CD albums.

Kellie, I use it on pretty much every project I've done where I need to punch holes, lol (if you look at the pics in the instructions in any of my workshops, you'll see my pink handled crop-a-dile in there, lol).

I've also used it to make more holes in belts which have become too big. LOL!

I love punching holes for ribbons in chipboard. And I made a bunch of friends some birthday calendar albums, and I glued 2 photos (the calendar pieces) to cardstock and it cut through no problem.
