Hey ladies,
I realized that I have only one kit with some daffodils from Kristin.
As it is the season I would love having a kit full of Daffodils flowers.
I have it in pots but love watching it. I have tons of pictures ot it as I love this flower and it make me think of coming spring.
It could be full of daffodils flowers, dandelions and vintage tags, springy mood...
Would someone would be interested?:)

I think it could be fun to have something like a serie with some flowers theme kit with colors. I think peonies, poppies, daffodils... Maybe mini kit with a main one?
It's just an idea I have in my head!:p

Your idea is brilliant, but it's difficult to make a kit with just a flower theme. I believe it's easier to have kits like Jacinda suggested for garden kits. But I will try to add some varied flowers to my collections ❤️
 
Daffodils are my favorite flower & not often found in digicrapping stuff. I do love Tracey's kit that is posted above & of course Kristin's too. I think wendy has some with daffodils too- let me go look.

Jacinda, I enjoy your ideas. I think it's because I mostly have in pots (we have a more than tiny garden) that I don't think of garden theme kit but I know you already told (and teach) me that I don't need a theme kit!:p
I think if I mix some elements and colors I can do something. But sometime I'm lazy!lol!

Kel, don't worry I understand. I don't say no to various flowers because I just love it in any kit!:D

But can't help loving daffodils! I'm curious how would you scrap it? Wich kit would you use for it?

I can't help but think of lot of other flowers kit with colors that could be great. But I know it's not an easy theme. You know when you have an idea in the head and can't change!:p

you aren't asking too much! I understand you - sometimes you can look through the store and the perfect kit just isn't there - especially if you're wanting one where daffodils are the main attraction and not just there in the background :) Do you have a colour scheme you'd like to see in particular? or any photos you'd like to scrap to get an idea of a starting point? I'm assuming soft whites/yelllows? happy spring vibes? Would you want it to be a big full size collection or do you like mini kits ?

I'm terrible with gardens, I have a project to make a vegetable garden, but I haven't managed it yet. But rest assured that you'll find some of your beloved flower in my next collections.

I LOVE daffodils! I did a page with photos of them, but I just realized that it doesn't actually have any daffodil elements lol!



I love the idea of mini kits featuring various types of flowers!

I would love a soft whites/yelllows color scheme, maybe a bold yellow too. Sure for happy spring vibes, this why I love it!:D
I would also like a big full size collection but mini kits could be interesting too. As far as I have lot of daffodils and then other spring flowers I would be super happy!:D

Kel, you make me laugh!:) I assume I love garden kit but finnaly don't play with it. Always find my piece of grass is horrible which is true!:( So we don't plant a thing. I often think that I'm going to play with vegetables one too with other pictures of vegetables or food but... Ok I'm also super slow maybe that's why I have all those pretty kits waiting to be used!

Since I don’t know much about flowers, I had to Google it to know which one you were talking about lol. Now, every time I see this flower, I'll think of you because there's no doubt how much you love them!

My neighbor just down the street has his yard filled with daffodils and they are super gorgeous right now! They have a flowerbed that is in the shape of a big cross in their yard and the daffodils fill it this time of year so when you drive past their house you can see a big cross on their lawn and he has yard statues of bunnies and deer that sit there by it and it’s just very pretty when you drive by. I’m not Christian, but I absolutely love Easter-time when they do their yard up pretty and the daffodils bloom over there because it really is just such a beautiful display!!

Somehow I always associate daffodils with Easter, but by the time it's Easter this year, there will be no daffodils left...
At our church each woman gets a daffodil around Women's Day from the local Amnesty department (they sell cards and candles as well after service).
 
We moved to my Grandma's cottage in February of 2024 and didn't see any of the daffodils then, but they've come up and put on a show. My hubby cut me some of them and they are on my dining room table. I had not idea that daffodils were so fragrant, but my sister tells me that's the difference between personally grown vs florist daffodils. I'm so glad to have this thread so I can choose my kit(s)!

The smell of daffodils is my favorite! Like the cleanest, cold, freshest air you can imagine, and BAM, I'm 11-years-old again on a cold spring afternoon, picking armfuls at my parents' old place.

That definitely sounds like a memory that needs to be scrapbooked! :wub:
 
for me daffodils remind me of cancer as that is the flower the Cancer Society uses. I buy the bundles every year when they are out fundraising. When I was on the committee for breast cancer we had pink daffodils ♥

All that being said, I love them and had a bunch at my old house. The nice big yellow ones, smaller white ones with a pinky center. Loved seeing them all come up in the spring. Tulips (orange ones), daisies, and peonies are my favourite flowers.
