December Daily - Week 2

That thread was just getting SO long, so I started a new one Col (hope you don't mind)

I can't wait to see everyone's pages for this next week. I was able to get almost totally caught up on Sunday night. My pages are even glued onto my bracket album!!
 
That's fine Amber :) I have mine set to show 30 posts per page, and I just skip to the last page anyway, so I hadn't really noticed the thread had gotten long. :)
 
This was FI's and my last weekend to ourselves until Jan 10th (have his son 3 of the 4 weekends & we're spending the other at my parents' for Christmas), so I tried to enjoy it as much as I could instead of keeping up with DD.

I did get a few pictures both days to use & started with Saturday last night when FI was watching a dumb movie on Comedy Central, but I will get Sa, Su, & today all done tonight while FI is in class and out of my hair! *lol*

It's been fun browsing the AE-sponsored DD Flickr group. Some cool ideas that totally translate to digital.
 
I'm thrilled, the part for my printer finally arrived!!! Woohooo!!! Looks like I can finally start printing off my pages.
 
Last night I had to make our save the dates, but tonight is alllll about December Daily :)
I'm loving seeing everyone's stuff all together, that flickr group was a great idea :)
 
I'm not caught up but hopefully will be by the end of today :)

I'm working on layouts for days 6 & 8 today. Day 7 will have to wait until I pack for our trip so I can get photos(it is the only thing I have left to do) and Day 9 will have to wait until this weekend when we make cookies. If 8 goes smoothly I might get today's layout done as well.

Ditto!!! And I'm SO bummed about it....I loved the start of my album, but it's stuck on page 9, with only ideas and tidbits of journaling for the rest right now. I leave for this coming Wednesday, so I'm trying to get an album for my niece done, that's taking up all available "extra" time, along with wrapping things up here before Christmas...hope you can find some time to scrap soon too! :)
 
I know girls! Same here, but it's all good. I was gonna work on mine tonight but then I remembered another project I have to finish. So, so much for that, lol.

But it's all up in my head and started in bits and pieces. I'm enjoying the season, which is what it's all about anyway! :)
 
Me three! I've got lots of pictures taken, but nothing in the book past Day 3. I've been busy working on other Christmas crafts. But, it's OK. I try to write down the journaling everyday in a notepad document. That way, even if it doesn't get put together until January, I'll still have all the stuff ready. I guess that's why Ali says to make the bones of the book ahead of time :blink:
 
Much to my surprise I am moving right along with my album. :) I'll be coming to a screeching halt Friday when we leave for FL, so I am really trying to keep up for now. I have 11 days done so far, going to try & do 2 more today & the other 2 I just can't do until after Saturday because they are about traveling & to do lists (my to do list revolves entirely around packing). I'm hoping I can get a couple of this week's prompts done a well.

I probably won't get any pages done while we are there because I *need* my beloved flat screen monitor to scrap (I'm addicted to my dual monitor set up.I must have every pixel of both screens available to me or I feel too confined to scrap), so I'll be 10 pages behind when we get back
 
I was doing great until I decided to do my day 5 page digitally. It took me SO much longer because I changed my mind a million times. Three versions later I finally had something I liked. :D I did manage to get all 37 of my base pages completed and numbered last week so I'm pretty excited about that. The weekend always gets me behind but I've been trying to keep up with everything at least on my computer so all I'll have to do later is print them out. Last year I gave up at about Day 11 so I'm happy to have at least made it that far this year. :D
 
I'm up to Day 12, so feelin' good abt the progress. :thumbup:

Although I had time to catch up Sunday night, I opted to cuddle up with FI after his son went home & would have been so sad to miss out on our couple time.
 
WOOT! I'm glad you guys are sticking with it! This is awesome!!

We're unexpectedly going out to dinner tonight, so there goes any hope of working on my album :p Aaaaah the holidays, gotta love it!
 
I'm still going and I'm up to date. As long as I can make it to Christmas Day I'll be happy. If the baby comes early, then I might be out after that:)
