Thanks to Jen Tapler for the original idea! My son helped me design how he wanted his book to look!

I'll be making one for the other son that is going on the vacation as well...but will be making it a bit larger since he writes larger. (This book is 4x5 1/2")

This is a journal for him to record his memories of each day on vacation to Orlando. I dated the pages and at his request added lines to write on. I put some extra blank pages in the back to add drawings or more memories.

The left side of the folder is a velcro closure so it can hold his tickets, post cards, or whatever he would like to keep with his memories.

I think it's a fabulous idea for even us to do! I didn't even think of doing anything like this last year when we went to Europe, and even just as soon as I got home, I wish that I had. Several of the other parents did it (we were chaperoning our kids' band). I think my main problem is I don't want to write on paper. If I had brought my computer along, it would've probably worked out great!
