Gah! Album help

In putting together Faith's chipboard album, I screwed up one of the pages. It's all kitty-whompus and already glued/taped on (let's just say, I thought I could trim one small thing after the fact and it didn't work out). It's just one small area on the front toward the edge but it looks really crappy... I figure it could be easily covered by paint or something??? How would I go about doing that? Any other ideas?

Reprint the page and put it over the messed up one.
Or paint or ink it. If using an ink pad just run it along the edge. I find paint a little more difficult but it's easier if you use a foam brush. Dab the brush in the paint just a LITTLE, and then run it along the edge.
Then lightly run the ink/paint on some of the other pages so that's uniform.
