Paint Chipboard?

OK, I'm a total noob to hybrid, so I thought I would ask a dumb question. I'm making my first chipboard album, and I was wondering if you guys paint the chipboard first? Do you only ink it afterward? Do you ever leave it plain? Thanks for the input!!

I have done it all three ways. I have painted the edges of my chipboard albums with some Making Memories paint bfore applying my pages, I have left them bare, and I have inked them after I put on my pages. It just depends on what look you are after

There are no rules. I've left it plain, I've inked the edges, I've used acrylic paint... just depends on the look you're going for.

Totally up to you, like they said! I personally attach my pages, sand, then ink with dye-based ink (pigment ink won't dry FOREVER).
