Prompted by another post about PL, I took stock of what years I needed to complete. I am going to try to complete PL 2022. I have Weeks 42-52 to complete. I am not sure what that looks like because those are the weeks I also create a gratitude album and December Daily. I am thinking the weekly LOs will be pretty simple so I should be able to get it done.

Anyone want to join me this weekend to work on PL??
 
So far I have been able to add photos and QR of our home videos for 3 weeks. It is a slow process but I am happy to be working on it.
 
I'm with you Krista, I love the QR codes so much, they are always are the part my kids are most excited about, but also they have just enough steps to make the process longer!!! I hope you put in a QR of the amazing food and work outs you do, your kids will want to see and appreciate all that you did as they become parents!

Where do you host your videos (that you create the QRs from)? I host on Vimeo but it is password protected. Should I add the password to my scrapbooks? What if the password changes? I am worried about access to my digital info years from now.
 
Amazing!! Great work! I love that each week is unique, but they have a uniform look to them as well.

I settled on trying monthly spreads for the year. I have a ton of photos, but weekly seems unreachable and some pages are better than none.

This weekend I organized my photos- next step is to pare down and decide on templates- not sure if I want to just commit to one designer’s monthly review templates or go DIY pocket style like I was doing with my weeklys.

some pages are better than none- SO TRUE!!

There are so many great templates out there...I chose to use the same one to makes things quick and simple. But I do have FOMO not using a variety of templates in my PL albums.
 
2022 is done! Just waiting for an Unlimited Page Sale at Shutterfly!
2023 is next...gonna be tough since I am starting from scratch but excited!
 
I completely missed this thread while I was out with appendicitis! But I worked on catching up on PL while I wasn't able to do much else. I usually keep a word document of my weekly recaps, and I add to it when I remember to. Then I just fill templates with journaling and photos and wait until the perfect kits comes along. Good job getting all those pages done, Krista!

I like the idea of a Word document. It would be much faster than Copying + Pasting from daily emails.
 
oh wow that is a huge accomplishment!
I'm trying to do at least 1-2 weeks of summer which will be 4 spreads I think

How is your progress?

I have filled in 8 weeks of photos. It is so fun to look back on all these great memories but I am motivated more than ever to stay current for my PL 2026.
 
I did 1 week where I did 3 spreads for now 1 more to go for that week. It was the week of our vacation to Belgium where we also went 1 day to Disney, so not enoug on 1-3 spreads hahaha. But at least the week with most photo's is almost done
 
Haven't done much scrapping lately and not doing PL but I did get photos placed on 6 templates today for my late August/early September vacation.

For this vacation I'm just adding the photos to templates before I add any kits. For some, I have decided on kits to use. For others, I have kits on my wish list hoping for a sale on BF in order to buy them!

So far I have 23 layouts started and I've got probably close to 20 more to do! It was a long and eventful trip!
 
I just ordered my PL 2022 book using Shutterfly's unlimited pages sale!!

Can I get 2023 done before they drop the next sale??!!
 
I am behind and I have this sense of urgency so I am thinking of quickly doing PL 2025 using only journal cards and patterned paper. I could probably knock it out pretty quickly since I have all the journaling inputted.
 
That is such a great idea Krista, I did that in 2018, with lots of clean scraping just to catch up. I wish you good luck, you are an inspiration, I just need to get it done!
 
Only two weeks left before 2025 is over.. or 1,5 if you don't scrap till new years eve

From whole summer with at least 2 spreads for each week I'm almost back on track only one week of summer to go with two spreads and these final two weeks and I'm done and ready to print.

I was wondering how are you all doing?

I haven't been able to focus on this project lately. I need to revisit where I am in 2023 and knock out 2025.
 
Wendy, I totally got behind with all of the holidays. Hoping to catch up when the kids go back after break. I hope you have a wonderful holiday!!!
 
Not strictly PL but I'm definitely staring down the catch-all pocket pages for my December album (Hanukkah candles, toys we donated this year, peppermint treats I ate, etc.) I have to make at the end of the month. I wish I knew how many photos I'll have so I can pick templates but other than the candles, everything is kind of a wild card (pun intended).

I think I'm going to be in super scrap mode after New Year's
 
A lofty goal but hoping to get PL 2025 done by Jan 1 2026. I am keeping it super simple with photos, journaling and journaling cards so should be fast?!

Anyone else trying to get a PL done??
 
wendy as i am every year.. totally in AWE!!! I love love love your book! you are living such a wonderful life and documenting it so well
