rare diseases kit?

There are some fabulous doctoring kits in the shoppe, but I didn't see one for rare diseases. Rare diseases being, well, rare, probably a mini kit or add-on would work well.

I'm thinking zebras and zebra striped items....some word art with different disease names, ribbons and papers in a rainbow of colors (to go with the variety of awareness colors), butterflies, hearts and flowers, rainbows, journaling cards (for symptoms, test results, highs and lows, diagnosis story, treatment, prognosis, then and now).

Thank you for considering this :)

This would be a perfect kit idea for Megan's Creations I think. I'd also love one for chronic long term health conditions as well.

Just making sure you've seen Tracey's Chronic because it's one of the most amazing chronic pain / illness kits I've ever seen!

Erica's Pain in the Neck kit is amazing too...

And with the sale... just sayin'.

Meagan, Your kit is AWESOME!!! It is even better than I imagined! Thank you so much!

I go in next Friday for a surgery to remove an adenoma from my pituitary gland to (hopefully) put my Cushing's Disease into remission.

Just popping in to say that yes Meagan that kit is truly amazing...it immediately went in my cart! My daughter has a rare among the rare diseases and we have been celebrating Rare Disease month in Feb for the past few years - this kit just seems to embody all the things about the month & well just the life in general. Add on to it my sister, myself and one of my sons also having at least one rare disease and I know it is a kit that will get lots of mileage for me.

I also have the chronic life kit and LOVE that one too by Clever Monkey Graphics - this will be a great addition to that kit

Thank you all so much! I'm so glad it will work for ya! Yes as I was researching I saw that February would have been a great month for it to be out but hopefully you'll think of it next year around that time.

Teri! I wish you a safe and successful surgery!

I know its super specific, but my daughter had a blood incompatibility with me (like RH factor +/- but a different one called Kell) which required weekly ultrasounds and eventually a intra placental blood transfusion. So maybe a high risk pregnancy kit for rare conditions would be great.

She also had to spend a week and a half under the bili lights at the hospital and at home, so a UV lights kit would be awesome. Her name is Violet, so we would call her Ultra Violet! Plus she had a lot of blood draws to make sure her bilirubin levels were coming down in her 1st month of life.

somehow I missed this but I'm writing them down! I think the UV lights might be a good add-on to the NICU bundle I did!

Oh that is a great kit. My son has just passed away from Cystinosis a very rare condition. In New Zealand he was one of 3 people and within the condition world wide he was the only one with his complications.
