Sweet Shoppe SugarBabe
I thought I'd share these, I'm pretty sure I did a few years ago when my oldest graduated. I always love looking at completed scrapbook projects.

I know so many of us want our kids to have their own copies of scrapbook layouts or their books, and what I decided to do as a graduation gift was do a pocket layout style page a month of my favorite photos of the kids from birth - graduation, so they'd have their own books.

No journaling, just keeping it simple, as they got into their teen years, it's really morphed into more like 2-3 months in a page, especially for the boys, and I'm just doing a copy and paste situation from Cooper to Harper's books. Makes it super easy to keep up with. Big vacations I gave like 2 page spreads, or like graduation got 2 pages, things that had a lot of photos they'd want.

I kind of learned after Keira's to work in like 6 year increments, to try and keep them a little more even page wise. Keira ended up with 4 books, the boys will have 3.

Then we can also have these out on display at their grad parties, rather than pulling out our family ones.

So here are the ones for the boys, I just finished & order Coop's volume 3 and Harper's volume 2.

You may have to be logged into shutterfly to view these. I just figured that out. :(

Cooper vol. 1
Cooper vol. 2
Cooper vol. 3

Harper vol. 1
Harper vol. 2

Maybe I don't know how Shutterfly works, but all I can see is the front cover (or maybe that's just what's supposed to be).
It's woderful to have these books ready for them.
When my daughter turned 16 I worked on a book for her... but forgot about it. So I finished it for her 18th birthday. I made a few pages about her growing up, her change over the years during our vacations and some fun and importatn to her activities. By then there were still pages left to fill the book, so I decided to add some inspirational layouts and layouts of her that I loved.
This is one of the few projects I have ever finished... and it was years ago (she's turning 22 this summer). I always start of great with books about our vacations, but then things happen (like SSD challenges or just life), so my scrapping time is gone... For example: I planned on making 3 books about our trip to Ireland a year ago, but so far I'm on the last day of the first book...

This is incredible!!! What a gift to your children. I love seeing the progression over time and the consistency of your layouts.

Mine are going to get a mishmosh of random pages if I don't get my life together one of these days!!

LOL! With my daughter's, I started out really strong, but then it took me like 6 years to finish and I was in a made rush to wrap it up before she graduated, so I've really tried to keep up with it for Cooper and then Harper's is really a piece of cake since I'm just swapped the photos and changing the dates. Usually once I print, I delete the PSD files, but I'm hanging on to these until 2031.

On the other hand, your kids already know that you are like that and that it will show in their books. By the time they are old and wise, they will look into these books and reminisce about their mom. This might be the part they are going to miss the most about you, because it made you YOU! 💝

That is a very generous and optimistic way to look at it! ❤️

Whatever your trick is it's an amazing accomplishment!
