Alright Sweet Shoppers, are you ready for our most challenging challenge to date? This one is sure to get you thinking outside the box, and I can't wait to see what you come up with! Be sure to click the challenge image above to visit awwwards.com and each Babe's layout links to the inspiration they used for their layouts too!

Like usual, you'll need to scrap a layout for this challenge and post in this thread by midnight EST on January 25th, 2014 for your chance to win your choice of a kit from our FANTASTIC Featured Designer Julie Billingsley's shoppe!

Don't forget if you miss the deadline for this week's Featured Designer giveaway, you can still earn Sweet Rewards for completing all of this month's TOTB challenges too!

Before I go, I'm proud to announce our winner for January 12th's challenge...

Ooh... this is a tough one! Can't wait to try my hand at it. I'll be back!
ETA: Still working on my layout. I MUST be sick-- I fell asleep while scrapping! Yikes.

Here is the site I was inspired by: http://www.awwwards.com/web-design-awards/globule-bleu
I loved the hexagon shape and the yellow background; when I went looking for hexagons and yellow in my stash, I fell in love with this kit all over again (Dream Big by Traci), and then ended up getting some silly photos Zach and I took in December.

I was inspired by this image. I created a layout that includes artifacts like that in the advert, as well as a muted colour palette similar to the inspiration piece.

Wow. So many great layouts on the first day of the challenge! I love it!

Belated Christmas

My kids were really sick on Christmas Day and so this is them opening their presents on Boxing Day. I still want to do a storyboard/project life style layout of our Christmas, and how we spent it on the couch watching Peppa Pig. So I wasn't really expecting to do a layout like this until I saw this weeks challenge and found the following site to base my challenge on. http://www.awwwards.com/web-design-a...holiday-select

I loved the idea of using the filter gallery in photo shop to get a sketched effect and doing something a bit different for a christmas layout.

The kits I used were:

Once Upon a Time by Juilianna Kneipp
A Christmas Dream by Iliella
Life Stories Christmas by Zoe Pearn and Kristin Cronin Barrow.
