Two "help" questions!?!?!

OK I think I looked at every thread in this section and didn't find the anwsers to these 2 questions.

1. Do you put "LO's" on both side (front and back) of each page of your chipboard albums? So like the mini luggage tag has 6 pages but I would make 12 (or 11 if I didn't put on on the back of the very last page) "LO's" to put in it.

2. I bought the Classic Scroll Album, now do I "punch out" the front to let my first LO show through or do you just cover that whole front even though it's like weirdly ribbed!?!?!

Thanks a ton ladies even though I have done a few hybrid projects this is my first time doing an album!!!
 
1. You can either put pages on the "backs" (make sure to flip the template though, so that you're pages will fit properly), or you can print a photo to adhere to it, or a piece of patterned paper and use it for journaling on. :) It's all up to you. :)

2. In most of the examples I've seen, they've punched out the scroll front so there's a nice border as the front cover. Most examples I've seen have been paper scrapped, so they've put a chipboard title on it, and embellished the frame with flowers, ribbons, etc. What I would do instead of making that first page a layout, is make it a big photo that can show through the cover/frame. :)

I would always put "layouts" on both sides of chipboard pages (never even thought about leaving the backs blank). But then again, there's nothing wrong with doing that either LOL!

Sorry if it wasn't much help - I'd just go with what *you* like best :)
 
all of my chipboard albums have had pages on both sides of the chipboard.

I have not used my scroll album yet, but I would do as Bree suggested and punch out the middle and make a frame, then have the first page a large photo to show thru
 
When I'm in a hurry, I have no problem just printing out patterned paper from whatever kit I'm using to cover the back sides! :D It all depends on what your goal is, and what you have time for.
 
Thanks ladies!!! I was cruising the gallery and in at least one project I saw that they used the "backs" for journaling and I think that would be a great idea for some of the smaller albums since there wouldn't be a lot of room on your actually LO!!!

I love the idea of "fancying" up the front of the scroll album, that might be fun!!! :thumbup:

Oh you know what I'm gonna try for the scroll album?? Taking out the middle frame piece and putting the center on a transparency so it floats in the middle. Sort of a teaser for what the first page really is :)

I also do either layouts or journaling on the backs. Depends on my mood, and how much I've got to say, lol!
